Blease and one Wyche himself presented on the passing of his predecessor in 1947, the Honorable Henry Hitt Watkins. Wyche's file on integration includes correspondence, addresses by Strom Thurmond, Olin D. Johnston, and James Byrnes opposing desegregation, and brochures sent to Wyche with titles like Communism and the NAACP and Ultimate World Order as Pictured in the Jewish Utopia.
